Oscar Isaac is Apocalypse! The Star Wars: The Force Awakens actor has been named X-Men’s next villain, and he promises to be the most
powerful baddie the X-Men have ever faced.
Tom Hardy and Idris Elba were rumored to be in the running
for X-Men: Apocalypse but, according to Empire, director Bryan Singer has found
his man.

I first noticed Isaac as an evil insane asylum employee in
Sucker Punch, and since then he’s gained some serious acting cred with his
leading role in The Coen Brothers’ Inside Llewyn Davis. Clearly, he has no plans
of slowing down with Ex_Machina, A Most Violent Year, and of course Star Wars
on his schedule.
As a big X-Men fan, I’m getting really excited to see the
world get smashed to pieces by this baddie. Who knows, Apocalypse might even outdo Ultron as
the most destructive Marvel villain.
