Chris Pratt will star in Cowboy
Ninja Viking according to bleedingcool.com. The Guardians of the Galaxy star
confirmed it in a tweet on Thursday but said no director is attached to the
project just yet.
Pratt is building a pretty epic resume. He also just popped up in this teaser trailer for Jurassic World.
Cowboy Ninja Viking will be based on the graphic novel by A.J.
Lieberman and Riley Rossmo. Pratt will play Duncan, a man suffering from
multiple personality disorder – one ninja, one cowboy, and one viking. A
government agency uses Duncan as an assassin until he escapes and seeks revenge
on the billionaire behind the project.
I must admit, I’ve never heard of Cowboy Ninja Viking before
this, but it sounds like a fun and bloody, tongue-in-cheek action-comedy.
I could see Matthew Vaughn (X-Men: First Class, Kick Ass) or maybe James Gunn (Guardians of the Galaxy) directing this one, but they're both in high demand these days.

The graphic novel has a very cool, stylized look, so I’m excited to see how it gets adapted for the big screen. Check it out.
